Welcome to Corfu ‘Kapodistrias’ Airport
After you have picked up your hired car, your first goal is to reach the coast line. That will help you avoid unessesary traffic and the complexity of the inner Corfiot Town.
You will turn right just off the arrivals terminal.
There you follow the lane until you reach the end of the airport building and then turn left

You just follow the well signed road keeping the airport parking area on your left hand side.

until you reach the main road.
A good thumb of rule is to follow are the Port signs in almost every main turn.
Turn right and follow the main road until after 400 metres you reach

a big junction with four different directions. Study the signs and take the outer left to reach the ‘Port’ or ‘Center’
You will than be moving along the coast line in ‘Garitsa’ and will be enjoying the distant view of the ‘Old Fortress’. That is you second destination.

Following the main road, you will see on your left the ‘Duglas’ pinnacle and
after a short uphill turn you will reach ‘Spianada’, the main Corfiot spuare and also the largest in the Balcans.

After a few metres drive you will be passing by the main extrance of the ‘Old Fortress’ on your right. Your next goal now (third) is to reach the Port gate.
Continue your road until you reach the Palace gate. Pass under it
and continue driving having the sea always on your right hand side.
You will see in the distance the ‘New Fortress’.

Drive past the first traffic lights. The signs just after the traffic lights show you that you are on the right way.
Just before the next traffic lights and seen this sign

Cross the next traffic lights. A few metres ahead you will see the ‘LIDL supermarket’ on you left hand side.

The next traffic lights are located next to the ‘AB’, another supermarket.
Carry on. After about 2 kms, you will see ‘Park Hotel’ on your left hand side. A huge boat is ‘parked’ outside!

Just after the hotel, you will be reaching your third goal, the Tzavros Crossroad. Follow the signs to ‘Kassiopi’ - ‘Dassia’ and turn right at the traffic lights.
’Ipsos’ beach is your next destination.

Carry on You will see ‘Dassia’ after about 5 minutes
Carry on

The road now leads to a small descent. You can see an Algida kiosk, just ahead. Just before there is a little space on you right hand side. You can park to the side and have a rest. In front of you is the Ipsos bay and in the distance your final destination.

Now you come into the famous Ipsos, with its clubs, bars and discos. You next goal is to reach the village of ‘Barbati’. So, leave Ipsos behind and carry on.
Driving up the hill and do not turn left to Spartilas bacause you will end up to Pantokratoras, our only mountain!
The road now becomes quite steep with a lot of bends, drive carefully.
The next village you will see is Barbati
with its church on your right, called ‘Agia Marina’
Leaving Barbati behind you come into the Municipality of Kassiopi. The huge sign on your right tells you that you are on the right way.

Carry on, you are nearly there!!! Pass by the Shel petrol station on your left hand side.
After about 1 km you will see a bus stop on you left and a sign saying ‘Fakamia’ on your right. Do not take the road on you right hand, just continue driving a few more metres
until you reach a sign on your right directing to the Beach of ‘Krouzeri’.
Turn right and go down the steep road. Turn right and after 100 metres turn left again
